Hi, there!

I'm Maria. I'm a copywriter and comedian.

Back when I was 18, I moved from Nebraska to NYC, where I got a degree in musical theater from Molloy University. I moved to DC for a few years, working as a comedy writer & performer and a professional actor. I even won some awards.

Then the pandemic happened and I ended up writing my way through it. I tried my hand at just about every type of writing, trying to find the best way for me to make cool things.

That’s how I ended up in advertising. It’s my favorite team sport.

I was one of the last few students at The Creative Circus. Having your school close on you isn’t generally regarded as fun but hey, I got some great material.

I’ve been at Tombras. I’ve been at BBDO. And currently? I’m kicking it with Brunner in Atlanta with my husband and our small zoo.
